Custom 3D medals: how we design and make them
Every medal starts as a blank page. Send us your club or event logo, the date and the categories you need, and within 24 hours we email you three visual proposals to choose from. You don’t pay anything until you’ve picked one. Once you approve it, we print it in our workshop in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz, Spain) in PLA, layer by layer and in several colours, so the logo, the text and the sport figure are raised in real relief instead of being printed flat on a disc.
There’s no mould to make, so a one-off medal for a coach’s farewell and a run of medals for a whole race come out with the same finish, and a design change doesn’t add tooling costs.
What you can customise
- Shape: round, or cut to the outline of your logo, a mountain, a racket or a shield.
- Relief and colours: each colour is a separate layer of filament, so nothing chips or peels.
- Text: event name, year, distance, category or finishing place.
- Ribbon: a premium sublimated ribbon designed and made for your order, in your colours and with your event name.

The whole process happens online: you send the brief through the form, we send the proposals and the quote by email, and nothing goes into production until you approve it. Shipping takes 48/72 h to mainland Spain. For any other destination, tell us your country and your event date in the form and we’ll include shipping and transit time in the quote, so you know before paying whether the medals will arrive in time.

Custom medals: questions before you order
Is there a minimum order for custom medals?
No. We make medals from a single unit. 3D printing doesn’t need a mould, so one medal for a tribute and a full run for a race come out with exactly the same finish.
Can each place or category have its own medal in the same order?
Yes. We start from one base design and change only what each version needs: the filament colour for gold, silver and bronze, or the category, distance or place text. It all goes in one order with one quote.
What file format should I send our logo in?
Whatever you have: PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG, AI or EPS. If all you have is a photo or a hand sketch, that works too: we redraw it so the relief prints cleanly on the medal.
Is the ribbon customised too?
Yes. Our medals come with a premium sublimated ribbon that we design and make for each order, in your event colours and with the event name or logo. Tell us what you’d like in the form and we include it in the quote.
Our event is less than three weeks away. Will the medals arrive in time?
It depends on quantity and on our workload at the time. Proposals arrive within 24 hours, production usually takes 15-20 days depending on quantity and complexity, and shipping to mainland Spain takes 48/72 h. If you’re outside Spain, add the transit time to your country. If your date is tight, message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we’ll tell you straight away whether we can make it.
